What is the CORE program?

The CORE (Career Opportunities in Real Estate) program is an eight-module online credentialing course that provides underrepresented groups a platform to gain knowledge about the real estate industry. Each module will provide different real-estate career content along with the networking skills necessary to succeed in this industry. ​​​​​​

How can I apply for the CORE program?

The application for the CORE program can be found on our website at (corearc.org). All applicants will be contacted via email two weeks prior to the beginning of the cohort.

Am I eligible for a scholarship?

There is no out-of-pocket cost to you as successful applicants will earn you a full scholarship (value $2,500) to complete the course.

What will I receive upon completion of the program?

Upon completion of the program, you will receive valuable knowledge to begin a career in real estate, networking and resume building skills, as well as three life coaching sessions, and the CORE credential.

What jobs can I apply for after completing the CORE program?

Students achieving this credential will be prepared for entry level jobs in the real estate industry primarily as a leasing consultant, marketing representative, property administrator, and more.

Is there an age requirement to be eligible for the CORE program?

Although our target audience is within the 18-30 age range, we accept some high school students and non-traditional students to participate in the program.  ​​​​​​

When does the program start?

This program consists of three different cohorts. You can choose to take the Spring, Summer, or Fall cohort.

Will I receive my Real Estate license by completing this course?

Completing this program will not result in your real estate license, but instead prepare you to start a career in this industry.

Do I have to be a student to apply for the program?

You do not have to be a student to join the CORE program. While our target audience consists mostly of college students, we do accept non-college students to join the program.

How long will it take to complete the entire program?

You will spend approximately 2-5 hours a week to complete each module. The program takes anywhere between 8-10 weeks to complete.
